1969 Hee Haw...wow

Another fan here. My dad "made" us watch it (this was the era of only one TV in a house!) but we didn't really complain. I thought Buck Owen was cuuuuute! I was only 6 in 1969!
I had a guinea hen I named Minnie Pearl

I love that song its my favorite
Deep dark depression excessive misery
if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all
Gloom despair and Agony on me

I sing this to my kids when they get "whiney" They have NO idea where I'm coming from and hate it.

Have you noticed that the Opry Land Hotel is now the "Gaylord" Opryland Hotel? Remember the plain Jane blonde in overalls? Wasn't she a Gaylord?

Seriously though...have you seen it since you were little? Find it and watch it. The funny part is that we liked it. It was funny. Everyone in the room would be laughing. It's a whole different thing now. It's funny now, but mostly becuase I remember the whole family laughing at it.

I am soooooo afraid I would be let down!!!

I was trying to envision getting my three boys (ages 11, 8, and 7) to watch it. *sigh* the computer nerd, the aspiring rock star, and the womanizer (yes, the 7 y/o LOL). I can just see that working out real well for me!!!! LOL

You'd be better off getting a bunch of your 40 yr old friends together, give them some good food and a drink or three and watch some "Hee Hee Hee haww haww haww"
