Okay..I just watched the 1969 new years eve episode. I haven't seen this show since I was little.

That is some WEIRD stuff. Even more weird...I remembered a lot of it. I remembered their names and the songs and holy cow I'm old.
And that was really really lame, but we were glued to it every episode back then.
I used to tell my mom that I was going to marry the Hager brothers.
One to get the groceries and one to do the dishes. She still jokes about that.

And ya gotta love the broody chicken that sits on anything round.

I would have been 3 in 1969. But I know we watched the show for years at my grams house. Sitting indian style on the floor, only making a sound if we were singing along to "you met another and PTHHH! you were gone!"

My father and uncle used to go in stores together and put on hats with tags, parade around shouting HOWDEEE to everyone, swishing their rears, pretending to be Minnie Pearl. I have lived through things no one should live through, people!!!
