1st eggs to eat or not to eat

had my first couple of eggs in the last few days. i remember hearing some where not to eat the first couple and smash them for the hens to eat the shells. is this crazy talk or what????
i might make me an omelet in the morning

My kids helped me poach ours. They got a real kick out of the perfect little doll size eggs. I had to put 4 on each slice of toast for my husband though!
