1st Silkie hatch!!

Yay! That’s awesome! Fingers crossed that you get what you’re hoping for… What color do you think the silverish one in the pics will be?

I may like to buy another incubator soon and so far it seems like the one you’ve got gives you a pretty good hatch rate! I would like one with a grid floor like yours so that the chicks don’t slip and the eggs don’t roll around so much too. So I am curious, what kind of incubator do you use?

I have a maticoopx off of Amazon! I love it! I do plan to get a non slip floor though bc the little silver got her foot stuck in the grid one point & I had to open the incubator to pull it out bc I didn’t want her to get hurt. I made sure the humidity was up though so it didn’t drop too much & went right back to where it was

Mine aren’t puffed out all the way like that lol I feel like they need to be bathed still bc they still have gunk all over them
