Haha LOL! they should fluff up after a day or two… walking around in the heat with a little bit of tumbling here and there will help the residue come off and make their down get fluffier

All of my other chicks have hatched that were good. There is one that still has movement & looks like it internally pipped. We started day 22 @ 3PM today. Should i give it a couple more days to hatch?

Yes, definitely give him a few more days…some are just slower and take longer to hatch than others do. He’ll likely be just fine, but late hatchers sometimes mean weaker chicks that MAY be more likely to need assistance (NOT too early though). Give it some more time, and you’ll probably have another chick very soon!

It pipped last night around 9/10. It still has not zipped at 9:30 this morning. Getting kinda worried abt it. It seems a little weak. :/

Don’t worry! Some of mine have taken over 24 hours from pip to zip. It’s nothing to worry about and he should be fine!

It seemed to just be weak. It pipped but never zipped. Idk if it was in a bad position or what. It was my first hatch so I didn’t feel confident helping but I really wish I would’ve ;(
