Mine has 5 toes on one foot as well!

Can you get a real good close up of the comb? Push crest back with one hand and have some one help you if needed. I think this may be a pullet at this age. Comb photo will help. Beautiful bird!

I think may be right about this one being a boy. The comb is dark mulberry already at 12 weeks. You should start seeing male saddle feathers growing out soon at the base of the tail. These will be pointy.

12 week update: they’re so cuuute they are awesome chicks still all showing very different traits from each of their parents it’s really cool to see. My kids love it too, they say “they’re kind of like kids” lol so I had to go into science teacher mode and remind them how that works. Share your pics of your mixed flock!!!! I’d love to see them

Well one of yours is obviously a boy has a very red single type comb. Your white one however has a walnut type mulberry colored comb.
Looks like the mama’s comb is completely black though which is normal in female Silkies.

Congratulations on your chicks! They are adorable! I would love to see pictures of mixed breeds also...and of yours as they grow! I put some eggs in the incubator from my mixed-flock.... can't wait to see what I get if anything. Hatch day is around April 27th. I've hatched quail once before, but this is my first time attempting to hatch chicken eggs....fingers crossed.

Hey here are 2 of the chicks the nn was a rooster so I rehomed him to my god father. How did your hatching go? Any success, if so can I see
