Here are 2 chickens that came with my Bantam assortment from Cackle Hatchery. They are bigger than most of the others. If these 2 are roosters, then that will make 10 out of my 20 that are roosters. I would like to start selling the roosters, but it is hard to sell them if I do not know what breed they are. These 2 have small pink combs and no wattles compared to all the big red combs and wattles on all the rest. They are just over 7 weeks old. They are even prettier then they look in these pictures. So let me know what you think.

This one was gold stripped as a chick.

This one was white as a chick.

Thanks for your help.

I sboth are pullets. I dont see anything screaming roo. Sickle feathers are rounded.

Dont really know the bread. If it was LF, I would think welsummer or brown leghorn.

I'm going to disagree on this :-) and say both roos. They both look to have pea combs, but without the body shape of cornish? I'll leave someone more knowledgeable to tell you what breed they are.

I hope you are right. I have 5 or 6 that are crowing and these two do not even attempt it. Only thing that worries me is that I keep reading about patches of dark red mean rooster. Well the both have deep red across the upper wings.

They are too young to have hackle or sickle feathers, even if they are roosters.Lots of people overlook the age when making guesses. I still think both roosters - let us know how it turns out!

I take back my post! lol, I was on my phone and didnt see the comb that well, and for some reason I thought it said 12 weeks.
I am unsure though. I still think the first one is looking like a pullet.

I wish someone recognized the breed. I can not match them up with any on Cackle's site.

it looks like a blk breasted red cubalaya cockerel

the 2nd is also a cockerel breed could be the same but they are blk breasted reds (maybe wheaten) the cubalaya is the only bantam breed that comes close to their coloring with that comb and leg color
