So...THIS just came out!!! Maybe she is headed in the right direction?

I don't see how she can manually remove the grit either unless they have some kind of special instrument. I have been reading on line about this and other than surgery I just don't know how they can get the grit out especially if it isn't in her crop area but below. Call an ask what this procedure entails because you have the right to know what they intend to do.

I asked if she would surgically remove it and she said, “No way.” I asked her why she wouldn’t go that route but she wouldn’t answer me.

Just spoke with Doctor & I she said the fecal test came back negative.
She went on to say she spent much of last night researching this. She will reach out to Dr Speer today & share X-rays with him if he’s willing to consult.

She said if she has to do a manual removal then she would use a saline solution which would hopefully help to serve as an enema. She would have to massage the area & hope she’s able to get some of the grit out. She said surgery is an option but not as viable.

The blockage is at least below the proventriculus although it may be at the proventriculus but it’s too hard to tell as the blockage is massive.

What is the purpose of the kale?

I think if your going to use oil this would be the safest way. But be sure to do it by the link with instructions I gave you so it goes directly into the crop. If you do it right into her mouth there is possibility of chocking and then aspirating

Lets see what @casportpony thinks she has the manuals.

Kale would be for fiber to hopefully help push everything out.
