2 chickens: hen or roo? Ages too?

I believe I've got a black Australorp & a Barnevelder here. I've never had either breed before. Feeling a bit worried that the Australorp could be a cockerel. I was told they were in the 3-4 month age range but I'm guessing younger.

Your breed guess seems pretty accurate, maybe if you could get some close ups of the comb on it, but from those pictures it looks like a cockerel.

They look like they are about 8 weeks old. The Australorp is a cockerel. I'd need to see the Barnevelder's comb before I say it's a pullet or cockerel for sure.

Whoops I'm sorry, I meant to say that the black Australop looks like a cockerel, but the barnevelder looks like a pullet. Sorry about that.

I think the Australorp is a male as well. The Barnevelder looks like a female to me.
