Awww, yes, James, it all takes time, doesn't it? Patience is a virtue they say, and I do not have that virtue! LOL

This hatch of Buckeyes (along with the Turkens and Orps), are the last ones out of the Sportsman ..... YES, it is empty!

I am expecting a few shipments of eggs this next week. Delawares and Lavender Ameraucanas.

Now what kind of luck is that, James???? 7 of 8 roos ! ! ! OMG

My second batch of Delawares from Cyn, I got a majority of roos. I am still growing them out, and hope to get my main roo out the bunch! I figure if I hatch enough of them, surely I will get the one I want !

Well, no peeping, pipping, or hatching here yet. How's it going for you, Germaine? Has your hatch started? How's yours James?

You know, the New Year's hatch seriously cured me for a little while. I never dreamed I'd get 41! And they've about destroyed my north lawn and MOST are roos!

I'm selling 3 little ones and 3 big ones today...as well as hatching eggs... I have to hatch vicariously now for a while.

Any updates??? My bator has been empty since the last hatch of Buckeyes 2 weeks ago, so I am hatching vicariously through you guys. I am seriously tempted to put some more of my bantam buckeye eggs in the bator and the few LF eggs I get from my 1 LF hen (she does have a LF husband). The only problem is that I am running out of room.

Yep 41 will do that to a lawn. How old are they now?

OK I woke up to.... 1 pip and 2 zipping! And one of the zipping is a BE1 Yay!!!!! I think I hear it so it must be out, going to check...

Yes, two are out and looking around. They are so sweet! They are just sitting and resting in their half shell... picking up their head and looking at me and then resting again. And peeping LOUD. They have lungs on them. LOL

The BE1 looks like it has some nice big feet, so here is hoping he is a roo.

2 down and 4 to go!

I will keep my fingers crossed for you too! I bet you have a pip right now. Have you looked?

This is how I get nothing, absolutely nothing done. I just look in the bator every minute or two. I gotta get some work done!
