2 Day old chicks with lice!

I checked for bugs this morning, lifted moms feathers, looked through down on the chicks and couldn't see anything. Most of the time I lifted moms feathers, a small puff of powder would come up, she's coated well.
Rusty is also doing much better! He drank some water on his own, and is moving a bit faster. Still has low energy though. He's also very itchy. He kept scratching his head and rubbing it on his back. I check multiple times but couldn't find any bugs. If the bugs dissipate, will his scratching stop as well? Or does this mean there's likely bugs on him that I haven't seen. Should I re-dust and clean out the bedding again?

I'll continue to check each morning until everyone seems lice free.
He's definitely got more spirit despite me not seeing him eat. He must be eating when I'm not looking if he's getting stronger.
He has more fight in him when I pick him up as well, which is a huge improvement from falling asleep in my hand 3 days ago.

You're still giving him PND a couple of times a day right? If not, then I would.
2-3 drops twice a day.

Yes, I get as much as I can in him at least. He doesn't like it at all, not sure when it is but today he started backing up and squirmed out of my hand when I put the drop to his beak. He doesn't get much in him, maybe a drop?
I did put some in his water today to at least get something in him. Plain water is being offered as well.

Rusty just took a good 7 or 8 sips of water after I dipped him beak the first time. I still haven't seen him eat, but he seems to be moving more and responding better to Sunny's voice. He wipes his beak on the ground to get the wetted feed off after I offered him some, so thats good. He's starting to show some resistance.
I was able to get about another drop of Nutri-Drench in him again, so we'll see how he does. He doesn't seem to be declining, so thats very encouraging.

When I dust birds, I put the powder into a sock or you can put it in pantyhose. This makes a duster. You have a little more control this way. You can shake the sock/hose get the dust to come to the surface, then pat it into sensitive areas like the head. I also tap the sock all over the body, but do it in sections, making sure the get the dust underneath the feathers to the skin.

If you can move her for several hours, I suggest that you use a Permethrin spray to treat the housing/nesting box, then move them all back once it's dried.

I did dust Rusty's head twice, when I spat teh feathers his his skin look coated. I didn't dust moms head as goo though. I'll use the sock method and do a re-dust of those areas. I also used an old chocolate sauce bottle, filled it with dust and used it to "puff" the dust under wings, around the vent and in over the neck of the chicks. Then rubbed the dust into the down.
I do have spray, but the only spray I could find was the Durvet brand, which is mixed with Petroleum Distillate. Can I still use that on the housing? Also note that our duck pens are only large covered outdoor dog kennels. So their aren't any actual walls. our climate has been pretty dry lastly, and with the roof I'm not too worried about rain. Should I just spray the bedding with the spray?
I can setup something for them to separate for a few hours.
