Hi There my name is Bruce
I am new to this forum so please bear with me if I not clear on posting and relying.
We have 6 Araucanas and 3 RIR's that are visiting for the winter from the neighboor. The other day my wife went to the barn and there was an Araucana DRT. I'm thinking, it happens now and again. BUT the next day there was a RIR DRT. We cleaned the Roost and gave them Organic Apple Cider Vinegar and so far they are doing OK. I did check the butts on the dead birds, but they appeared ok and not all crapped up. All the other chickens are bright eyed & bushy tailed.
Any Thoughts ? What is DE I see for wormer ?
Thank's Bruce

Hello Bruce and

!!!

What are the ages of the chickens in question?

The DE that you are asking about is diatomaceous earth, but not the kind that is used in swimming pools. This is the food grade kind. It works great to keep worms, lice, mites, etc... at bay. Here are a few links to other threads that have been started about DE.
