2 ducklings aggressively ganging up on my adult duck

I hope everything goes well for Frankie. It sounds like you have a good vet.
Just got bad news that he went out of town for a last minute family emergency, so they canceled her biopsy tomorrow. They don't know how long he'll be gone. I can't believe our long streak of bad luck. I'm so worried now that we'll have waited too long adequately treating her feet since they're still puffy. I know bumblefoot can be fatal, and I'm not even sure that's what it is. I'm lost on what to do in the meantime, since I don't know how long he'll be gone and when they can reschedule. Can you ladies think of anything else I can try from home?
She's been on Baytril, Metacam, and Doxycycline. She's only had one dose left of each.

Can you post some good pictures of her feet? I have a chicken hen inside my home right now I am treating for bumble. Soaking in Epsom salt water and using Veterycin on this one since I can't wrap it that is why she is inside. Wrapping was keeping it from healing it was staying moist. I also used PRID which is a drawing salve. I'd go ahead and finish her meds but not sure what else you could do. Other than what your doing.

All of those drugs should have killed the infection and helped with the inflammation of it was indeed bumblefoot. Often when I treat with baytril for bumblefoot, the hard mass under their feet becomes soft after treatment. Unless you have a antibiotic resistant strain to two different antibiotics I am thinking your vet is correct and this is not bumblefoot.

I am sorry you are having such bad luck. I am honestly not sure what to treat with. Hydrocortisone ointment is the only other thing I can think of to help with inflammation, but not sure if it would make it worse or not.

I appreciate your help ladies. I emailed the clinic back to see if they had an ETA on when the vet will be back, and if it's going to be awhile I asked for another recommendation on a clinic. Since those antibiotics are pretty strong, and combined with Metacam, and the homeopathic treatments I figured it should be gone by now. That biopsy is key, but I'm a lot more worried it's autoimmune now. I'll keep soaking her feet and applying Vetrocyn and neosporin. I'll try to take another photo tonight after soaking.

The clinic called back, and said he does surgery on Tuesdays only, and they are booked out until July 26th. I still don't know when he'll be back, but I'm appalled they were too lazy to fit her in on an "off surgery day", or bumped less important surgeries like a dog neuter next Tuesday to fit her in earlier if he get back this week. I'm bugging them again tomorrow for another vet to approve more Metacam in the meantime while we wait 2 more weeks. She needs something to keep the swelling at bay.
Sorry for my rant. I used to be a vet tech, and my veterinarians went above and beyond for their patients. It's sad to see the world become less empathetic. If it gets any worse, I'll have to take her somewhere else in the next 2 weeks while we wait.

That is such a bummer. I have sadly had a lot of bad experiences with vets. I have been to too many different vets with some issue. I am sorry you had to go through that. If the vet comes back, maybe then at least talking to the vet may get them to reschedule you sooner.
