That is such a bummer. I have sadly had a lot of bad experiences with vets. I have been to too many different vets with some issue. I am sorry you had to go through that. If the vet comes back, maybe then at least talking to the vet may get them to reschedule you sooner.

It's sad there isn't more specialized Avian vets. My sister's a vet tech still, and they ordered more Metacam for Frankie incase I don't get a response from my clinic or they deny the refill since her vet is out. We both forgot our phones after we started her treatment last night, but I'll try to get that photo tonight. She's still doing great, which makes me so happy

The pictures turned out just ok. Her love knows no bound. We brought her inside tonight due to high temps. Her one foot is looking better She was a trooper

Thank you She's a strong girl, and hopefully we can get an answer on the 26th. I sure love my amazing Frankie, and I'm so glad she's still happy and comfortable.

My little Frankie goes in for her biopsy this morning. Positive thoughts and energy she'll do great, and it turns out to be treatable. I can't wait to get the call to bring her home safely today. Such a big heart packed into a runt Cayuga body

Frankie did great for the biopsy! She's awake and kicking it on the couch with me We should get her results in a couple of weeks I'm so relieved the biopsy is behind us. She's one tough little girl! The vet made an incision on the side of her right foot to get the tissue sample. No bandage, and he put suture in. She'll be on Metacam still, and SSD ointment for the surgery site. She's loving the A/C being indoors

My poor Frankie girl is back to being confined. I lined her run with pee pads on top of her pine shavings. Her toe they did the biopsy on swelled up and is very warm to the touch. They are going to try to get her in at the clinic today or tomorrow. She's limping and pulling that foot up. This angel can't catch a break. I'm hoping she just irritated it by walking around too much over the weekend. We'll see what they decide at the vet. Fingers crossed

Frankie is super mad that I brought her to the vet again. They think it's mostly inflammation, but sent me home with another round of antibiotics to be safe. I need to get her booties to keep her feet clean and dry. She'll get the anti-inflammatory twice daily now. I hope this knocks out her pain. I should get her biopsy results soon too
