Sometimes they peck, sometimes they slap you with their wings. Be slow and talk softly. IDK how many days to wait before candling pigeons eggs, maybe 4 -5 days?

So do you have pigeon doves(rock doves) or dove doves like ringneck doves?

dove doves. White, maybe albino, they have red eyes n feet.

I'm going to wait 8 days to be sure. I think it's 6 days tho.

Update...

She stopped seeing on those eggs, and laid 2 more a few days later. One of them hatched yesterday, as of this morning, the second had not hatched.
Hubby wants to move the cage in side so snakes don't get the babies, I'm afraid moving the cage might upset them to much causing them to stop feeding our something....

So, the second egg never hatched. The baby disappeared.
