I did not mean to post a link in there. Why is there a link?Where did you get them from? Some places don't label them properly -- Tractor Supply Co. is pretty bad at labeling their chicks correctly. I once bought so-called, "Southern Ramblers," and ended up with some kind of crested black bird that looked like a Sultan cross-breed.
Ah, well.
My Wyandotte "pullet" might be a cockerel... I really hope not... it'd be the first pullet-turns-out-to-be-a-cockerel mistake in four years of buying them from there! Plus, I already have two bantie roosters!Oh yeah. You can consider all tractor supply chicks straight run, and the breeds are essentially nonexistent. In the future (trust me, chicken math will strike-there will be more chicks!) I"d recommend ordering from a hatchery.
