2 Male Ducks Fighting

2 of my male ducks are fighting. This just randomly popped up. They have known eachother for 1 1/2 years now, and nothing like this has ever happened between them. Our alpha male has fought before with his brother, but we decided to get rid of the brother. Lately, our alpha, Onion, has been getting overly agressive with the females. We are wondering if he is standing up for the females or trying to impress them or wanting to take over. We arent sure if it is about the females or not. Please help before this escalates!!!!

How many females do you have? I have 4 drakes and they do get into it but unless I see blood I just let them work it out. Here it's mostly wrestling to see who is dominant drake. It's probably more about dominance.

Thanks!!! We have 5 females. One of the females is significantly older the rest. The fighting started a few minutes after I walked by with my new born ducklings. Im wondering if this has anything to do with it? Thanks again!

I doubt it had anything to do with the ducklings it's just the testosterone these boys produce. lol

Usually once one establishes dominance they settle down until the lesser decides he wants to try and knock the king off his throne but that usually doesn't last long either. lol
