Jingle and Jangle are barnyard mix chicks hatched 11/30/25. Their dad is MJ who is half Bielefelder and mom is Siggy, a Blue Rock (aka Sapphire Gem).

What gender do you think they are? I’m leaning toward pullets. They are pretty similar in appearance so I’m thinking they’re the same gender. Jingle (red leg band) has white legs and slightly darker hackles. Jingle is outgoing and has slightly larger comb. Jangle (green leg band) has yellow legs and more prominent barring. Jangle is more reserved and pullet-like in personality.

Both birds (it was a windy day):

In the above 2 photos, Jangle is at the top of the photo while Jingle is toward the bottom.

At 8 weeks (2 months) I'd say they both have quite large combs to be pullets and I'm seeing the beginnings of wattles on both.

Wait for others to weigh in though.
