Good morning, everyone!
I got a text from my mom this morning, saying that her 2 month old hatchling isn't walking. She is able to walk, she just prefers to lay down. When she does walk, it seems she is very stiff (maybe even weak/wobbly and a little knock-kneed?). She is upright and alert, but we are unsure at this point if she is eating or drinking. She seems to be acting relatively normally otherwise - she's foraging through the wood shavings in her cage, and is aware to people approaching. They haven't been introduced outdoors yet, but right now, the chick is isolated in a rabbit cage and resting in some sunlight. Mom is going to offer her lentils, and I suggested picking up some electrolytes as well. Can anyone offer any solutions or insight? Thanks in advance!
