2 month old chicken

I incubated 8 Ayam Katawa eggs. 2 were bad. 3 hatched no problem but for some reason even though I used wet paper towels and the water in the troughs were full, 2 chicks needed help getting out. The 1st one died but the 2nd one lived. She is now 2 months old. when she was born she had crooked toes. I tried taping them (and I bought vitamins for her) but the toes remain crooked and now one of her legs are backwards. I took her to the vet and he said best thing to do would be euthanize her. It's my husband's chicken now and I don't think he has the heart to do that. She eats, drinks and poops and can get around. She is in a ferret cage by herself.
I've been racking my brain on how to make some kind of brace for her. I've seen 3d printer prothesis legs for chickens but I don't have a 3-d printer.
Any suggestions?
