MISSEM
In the Brooder
I have an 8 week old Silkie that started displaying Splayed legs 3 days ago. At first I thought her right leg was hurt, but slowly both legs began to do the splits and she ends up on her back every time she tryed to move around. She has yet to show any improvement.
I have her in the house, thankfully I work from home and keep her with me, and have been feeding her every couple hours as well as giving her water through a dropper. The water is mixed with "Save-A-Chick Electrolyte".
From hatch day until 3 days ago my little chick had been walking fine, jumping, flapping, and running with her siblings and their mom. None of the other babies has shown any sign of problems and all of my other 10 hens are fine.
Has anyone ever encountered this? Any suggestions as to what might be wrong?
