2 new babies hatched by broody...

    these are my 2 new babies who hatched a week ago....they were incubated by my broody hen (a light/buff Turken) and the only ones to hatch out of 9 eggs. I was on vacation and my son did the photographing...they are fine and still in with Mom, separated from the rest of the flock by a wire cage...They are so different in size! The one is an Easter Egger (and was in a huge green egg) and the little one is from a Sumatra mom and Turken dad (I think) as I don't have any other dark Roos.

    Wow that EE looks like godzilla comapred to the other one! They are both realllllly cute though!
