2 of 4 chickens won’t roost

It started at the beginning of summer where 3 of my girls would hang out on the ramp to the coop rather than go in when it got dark. The one same hen that would go in, would roost, no problem. I couldn’t really figure out why that was happening, but since the sun has started setting earlier perhaps they are now going in earlier and now all 4 are going in at night.

That’s good, however 2 of the 4 now won’t roost but instead prefer to sleep on the floor in the bedding and poop. I’ll occasionally find eggs down there instead of the laying bins.

Any ideas why? It’s not a big deal, but being in Minnesota I hope they will roost when it gets cold so they stay warm enough.

Thank you!

There are three roosting bars in there, so there should be enough room. The hens are 2 years old. This only started a couple months ago. Not sure what changed
It might be too hot in there for four birds.
Can you take a picture of the inside area of the coop which includes the roosting bars please?

It’s hard to get an idea of how big the space is

Looks like they will fit...it may be just too hot.
I am not sure.
