We have had our six little chicks for a week, and they have been doing well up to today. This morning both of the Americana chicks we have are acting a bit strange. They are continuously opening their mouths like they are panting are struggling for air. Their butts are fine, but they both seem smallish compared to the others, like maybe they are not growing? Heat level is good, though one is just standing under the heat lamp with her head up and opening her mouth constantly
I've put them in their own box, given them sugar water (they've had ACV in the water since day 1) and am just waiting. Can I do anything else for them?
