congrats, I've always been told you can get a false neg but you can't get a false positive, from my doctor

My hubby and I tried for over a year with our first one. I took a test and NEITHER line showed up, so I threw it in the trash. 2 hours later when I went to the bathroom I happened to glance down in the trash and saw 2 lines! They were both faint, so I didn't believe it. I went out and bought another test immediately, and it was true!

If your normal doc has a lab at the office like most do, you can get a walk-in there, too- it doesn't have to be your OB/GYN. I don't do anticipation well.

I would go to another place, but my OB-GYN is a good "friend" to me and has been there for me during the whole process. It's only fair for her to do the test. Yeah, waiting is killing me, too.
