Ah I'm sorry. This is the material used for the run. PVC welded wire. It is 16 Guage. Is that too big of a hole?

I made the mistake of using chicken wire in the past so don't worry, I know that chicken wire is dangerous. This one cannot be ripped apart.

So you bought that big run frame and it was covered with the 16 gauge stuff?
Or you added it?
16 gauge is just the thickness of the wire......
....the holes, or mesh size, is given in an X" by X".

I haven't seen one around. I know that raccoons can teach through and grab so maybe putting at least a small holed garden mesh will help.

Weasels are found in all 48 states. they can squeeze through any opening you could push a quarter through. They will kill a whole flock just for the fun of the kill. Mink are larger. But a busy mink can wipe out a whole flock in a single night. You often won't know you have either one near you, until you go out in the morning and find dead birds.
