I hatched three eggs in the incubator from my hen and rooster. Chicks were born Aug 30th. Brooder is inside, chick has two siblings. Last night I noticed that all of a sudden one chick was very lethargic, laying on belly, and "gasping" air. The chick's crop was pretty empty. Stomach area was very bloated. There was no feces on rectum area so there was no blockage. I thought the chick was going to die by the way it was acting. As a last ditch effort at 10pm at night, I gave it a few drops of olive oil thinking incase it was "plugged" and couldn't deficate. This morning, the chick is up and walking around but abdomen is still very bloated. What do you think this could be? I don't know what to do to help...
Thank you!
