2 week old chicks outside?

It might depend on how many chicks you have. Mine are two-three weeks old, have wing/tail feathers. I put them out two days ago. No heat lamp, and about 78 degrees. I think they are healthier with more space to run in and fresh air. They do have shade, and a box to get into. I made a nest out of hay, and at night they are all in there together, no heat lamp. there is a dozen chicks.

Last night we had a big heavy rain and it got pretty cool, when I went down to check at daylight, they were still in the nest, but dry, no losses.

I have 17 baby orpingtons that have been outside since they were about 1 1/2 weeks old. We live in Florida and have the same temp as you. They are in a wire brooder inside a regular chain link covered pen. I have not used a light. I do cover them on three sides in case of rain or wind.
My baby chicks go outside with mama at four days old. They are in a covered run, they have shelter water and food and their mother. I live in West Virginia. I only do this during the summer and they are fine, no light
