2 wk old barred rock: Pullet or Cockerel?

Oh great, I got two from the feed store that were labeled as pullets and they look exactly like this lol

No word yet on chick #2! These were in a group of 25 "freebie chicks" I got. I was hoping at least 1 was a pullet.

You really can't go by head spots and such, unless a certain line has been carefully bred a certain way to produce the males with larger head spots. So really they are too young to even guess. P,ease wait until they are six weeks old, then post pics of their combs.

If they were "free", you can guarantee that they are cockerels. A well trained eye can usually discern barred cockerels from pullets if all are presented in a group.
