I was mad at the time, but I've had 20 weeks to get over it. I love my chickens as they all have different personalities and I love different colors. I do not like the fact that they are the flightiest birds I've ever saw. Mr. T reminds me of John Leguizamo in To Wong Foo when he prances around and then gets startled and runs squawking like a hen, lol. I laugh now, but at first I hated it. The fact that they were so scared of me, their house, the water can, the food bowl and just about everything. Forget treats, they acted like it was poison. As they have gotten older, it has gotten better. I can walk around them without too much panic. They will eat some scratch that I put out for my other girls. Oh yeah, Roadrunner can jump from the ground and clear a 5 1/2 foot high fence at will. She decides it's time to free range about 9 in the morning and just jumps up and flies over. We clipped one wing last night. I'd like to be a fly on the coop wall today!!
