Yep, the muff is what clued me in. And yes you will probably get olive eggs, or at least green of some shade.
Well....... I guess I should have said that particular cross of breeds would lay olive eggs, or at least some shade of green......
We have a Silver Spangled Hamburg that crowed as a pullet even though we have a roo that grew up with them. She doesn't do it often, but you can definitely tell that it's a crow and not some other noise. Now that she's two years old, she almost never does it, but she sure scared the pants off me a time or two.Pullets do not crow. This is a slow developing cockerel. Hens won't crow unless there is no rooster in the flock.
