Saw this ad for these chickens for $200 each. What are they?

  3. leghorns? no.

  4. [IMG] I don't know what the breed is but, I am almost certain that they are not leghorns.

They certainly do not look any leghorns that I have. [IMG]
Maybe mine don't look like leghorns though [IMG]

They are Oriental gamefowl.. Gamefowl are higher than most breeds in prices.. Then there's a lot of the production breeds are high as well in the show quality form.. Nothing to be alarmed about really. I don't know much about oriental gamefowl but they look more like young (Or miniature) Thais than Asils (Or Aseels, Whichever you prefer) But i could be wrong.

Yes oriental game fowl, breed mostly for fighting, reason for the price also.
