If you reread my post I even apologized for the term being used. And I was just explaining that in my neck of the woods, that is what the birds are called.

And yes Rodriquez, it is illegal in some states to even have this breed of chicken in your possession.

But, here in South Carolina, it is not illegal to own/breed/sell them.

I will to say I have 5 Game hen and there the best hens for taking care of there chicks. I fell sorry for the cat that will try to take a chick from them.. I had got some good SQ RIR eggs one year and put them under a game hen becouse I trusted a game hen better than the $300.00 incubator I have... She hatch all the eggs and took care of them like there were hers...

back to the breed, yes asil, compare them to american game, i hate the looks of asil, but think the american game are the best looking of all rooster.
