What is it with all the September birthdays?? If most of us weren't born in different states, I would be blaming it on the water!!

So since there are SO MANY of us with September birthdays, how about a gift exchange as well?? Might as well celebrate our love of all things fowl and ourselves too!

Wow! Sounds like a blast! I've never been to a chickenstock before!

I'll have to check my schedule a little closer to make sure that I won't have to be somewhere or working on a boring long college paper or something. I wont get my syllabus until the 10th for this semester.

I don't think that I am going to work September Sales this year at Keeneland, I was considering it for the $$, but probably will not have time and be able to keep my grades up. (sigh) But that means I should be free!

If I can make it, I'll def. bring KittyKelly, maybe my Serama partner Patrick and a bunch of the started birds! I can maybe donate a pair or some eggs as a prize, if anyone likes Seramas.......

If I get to come--- I think my friend has a smaller canopy that I can borrow and we have a ton of folding metal chairs we use for our big family events down at our Morton building. I'll get a count on those. The canopy was big enough to cover our one picnic table with extra room.

I have a 2 y/o daughter and a 6 y/o son that would love to come and play and I'd love to make some food!

This is so great!! Thanks for putting it on! I might have to do one next year on our farm if the 2010 Horse Games allow it.......We live just outside of Lexington, in Georgetown, 8 mins from the KY Horsepark and only 5 mins from downtown Georgetown. I may be renting out part of my 150 year old 7 bedroom house to people coming into town next fall for the Alltech games. May have to wait a year so the traffic and all is not too crazy!

Alcohol breeds trouble anyway in large crowds so better not to have it... And there will be children there. Not that I'm against it or anything

Oh by the way... Cortni will be 19 on September 4th... Add that one to the list... Not from KY though, she's a Georgia Peach.

We can borrow FILs easy up I'm sure... It is a 10 X 10, if not his then SisILs between the two they have about 4. We have really got to buy us one since we'll be needing it every summer and some during school when we go to swim meets.

Sept 19th sounds great!!! Hope Ron doesn't have a show to do at that time. Fall is busy for the Festivals and arts/crafts shows and Ron helps his dad with the prints at the shows during this time.

I just got an Idea!!!! I might be able to get a hold of one of my FILs new prints he has just released and add it to a giveaway. Anyone interested in trying to win a Fred Thrasher print? The proceeds can go to Shelleys dad for allowing the use of his land and clearing it for preparation.

Hey, Shelley! If I can work it in at all, I'll be there. I have a small canopy and access to a couple more if I raid my sis's camping supplies. She might want to come as well--they had a great time Saturday, too, after not being sure about a Chickenstock.

My little mottled cochin roo is crowing his heart out--so cute! Right now they're quarantined in my carport, so getting a lot of attention.

It's a meet n greet... you can bring chickens or other poultry etc to sell or trade as well. Plus there are donations of items for drawings, lots of food, good times to be had and you meet alot of great folks and get to put faces to the folks you chat with on here.
