I sent them both. If you don't like the one, you can use it as packing gauze for your DH's cyst.

All the blocks look so lovely! I guess I can't wait anymore for the material I ordered, so I'm going to have to make my first block with what I have. I am going to contact the store and inquire as soon as I find their name, LOL

I have all mine cut and ten together so hopefully on Monday and Tuesday I can finish !

Wow, everyone's blocks are looking great. If I print out a picture of each one and glue them together, I could have a completed quilt before the rest of you

This has been a major busy week, besides work, dentist, church kids group and then (from my new book, I really liked this design) Thursday I created another origami block http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/z3g9mvblKarkLmC2YarHig?feat=directlink I'm getting better at this

Then I made the real thing:
http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/PO3WHUQHvyTvK5RyImYR7A?feat=directlink and another view http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/ipXDv-NQDXAes03h0Jq26w?feat=directlink Baby Snoopy; Red Baron training.

This one is for the baby quilt chicken women is working on, it will need to be cut down just a little. I had to add the border to get it to the needed size and of course this made it a smidgen to big. I hope it will work. Sorry chicken women it has to go snail (another block in the making) mail

on Tuesday with a couple others.

skand remember a few posts back, me talking about adding extra when you measure? Be sure to reeeaaallly add exxxtttrrraaa. On Baby Snoopy block, I added 1/2 inch seam allowance on every side of every piece and where every cut was. And then when sewn, the darn thing still came out a little short

. How can you have enough for 1/2 inch seam all the way around each piece, sew a 1/4 inch seam around each piece and it still come out too small?
I just

Next block, I am going to add enough for a full inch seam allowance everywhere. That should work!

I am so excited about next month and seeing what I can create for who I get next

LOL Its so cool to be able to check in here and have a familiar spot.

I'm a little under the weather.. no I think the weather has done a number on me, I caught a cold from being stuck in a plane so long, and then I swelled up like a balloon from the change in climate, my fingers, face, toes everything was all puffed up - I felt so horrible. Anyway - I will get some shopping done soon I'm sure, I just wish I was feeling normal for a whiile.

I haven't even hauled out my camera yet.

All your chicken friends are wishing you a good visit and missing you here. Maybe you should leave Sara's warthog there and make yourself some soup out of it so you feel better!!

Wild if you are all swelled up try some lemon in your water, lemon helps water retention. Have fun and get better.

Hey all I am off to the first rummage sale of the year here. LOL I know I know but it is the little things.
