I just got a foundation pieceing book from Amazon, used but in great condition. It has 300 blocks and some are just gorgeous.

FrChuck...I just love Silkies. I lost the only purebred one I had when the neighbor's dogs got into the chicken yard and killed lots of my chickens. She was a great mother too.

Leepsy, sorry to hear about your silkie. I didn't think much about them until I watched the PBS Special, The Natural History of the Chicken, and the last story in it was about a white silkie hen. I have heard so much about them, I really wanted one for my flock.

So I have a blue splash one and once I get this camera thing fixed I'll have to post some pictures of my girls and my handsome roo.
And just maybe next week-end I'll go back and get the white one I saw, and maybe a black one, and maybe a buff one too.

hello, i just wanted to tell my swap partner that i have not forgotten them! the block is being worked on, i will have it out by the 20th...

,SO sorry for being the last to send it out!...

, its just that sewing is kinda hard for me...

so, again, i promise i will not let anyone down...its coming!...
