**2009 Quilt Block Swap for April**

Quote:
Well, after learning that people had already finished blocks, I did your last night, and it's pink and blue! It's a basic 9 patch, I hope that's okay. I also finished leepsy's block!

So if we get more sign ups, I'd like 2 more blocks! Thank you. I'll post pics later to make sure you ladies like your blocks.

I'm sure it's perfect, and I hope that when the list is done I'm still below you because I love pink and blue together!!!!

Remember, signups aren't over until April 10th. By then the list may have changed enough that you might have a different person listed under your name.

OH MY, it's a good thing the mail already went.

I better go get it.

so sorry.

So can I sign up to do another block? Please

Okay, so my first two victims, er swappers are going to be Ginbart and Slo Crev, and Ginbart gets me as one of her swappers and so does Lunachick. Any particular preferencesI should know about?

As for me anything goes.

I'm gonna experiment with a different pattern than my usual 9 block one, just got to find my templates that are here somewhere, I think , maybe

I found some neat fabric for one of my blocks and I think this weekend I'm going to make a short road trip to a fabric store about an hour away and get the rest of what I need! Who knows.. I may end up signing up for more blocks!

nothing to bright. Thanks

Do you like the one I made Scrambled Egg or would you like something different. I'm game for anything. And I always like to try new patterns.

By the way, I am leaving tomorrow and won't be back until Sunday. So I may not get back to you right away.

I made a block today, but once again I'm not happy with it. Grrr... I tore it apart and redid sections of it several times and still ended up with seams that weren't straight or didn't match up. I think I am just going to start over and keep this not-quite- perfect one for me. The sad part is I don't have enough of the chicken fabric to make another one the same! I thought for sure I bought extra of this fabric, but I can't find it! I'm doing great at losing things lately, apparently (see the sewing/quilting club thread)! Maybe I should have just stayed in bed today... I stayed home from work because I felt awful, so I guess I shoudl have stayed away from the sewing machine.

Here's my failed attempt.

I love your material for that block and the pattern. I saw that rooster fabric last night on a site and I thought it was so cute. I may have to get me some.
