SE,
The bug jar is sooooooooo easy to do. I want to do a quilt of boy things in jars for our grandson due this Nov. You will start looking at fabric in a new way. Trying to see how it will look in a jar.
Have fun making one or two oh make a bunch

What a cute idea!!! I think I'll go through my stash tonight and see what I have that looks like it might could be free floating around in a jar and try one, the pattern is so cute!! Seems it would be pretty with some of the vegetable fabrics, like canning in the jars. Can't wait to see your boy jar quilt made up!! Def. need some fireflies and matchbook cars!!

acers and se your blocks will go out tomorrow.
My hands are finally healed enough that I can sew.

Update on hands is that the rope burn got infected, doctor gave me meds for that. He also said it would take a long time to heal beause it is burned so deep. Note to self let go of the lead rope sooner you can not hold back a spooked horse.

My face is healed from plowing the corral with it. The wrist ( thank goodness is my left hand) is still in a brace for at least 2 more weeks. Torn tendons and such. I should of just broke it atleast we would know in 6 weeks it would be healed. The best news is that the 6 year old granddaughter (that was on the spooked horse) got right back on the horse. The frist thing she asked was when can she ride agian.

See her horse pix in the pet form under jimmijo and handsome ( he is not the horse that spooked)

Piecemaker, I am so glad you are healing! It is a terrible feeling to be on a spooked horse with a child. It happened to me with my 2-year-old niece. Fortunately, he only reared slightly and didn't run far, but it was enough to scare me! My niece never even noticed-she thought he was supposed to do that and it was great fun!

It took quite a while to get him calmed down enough that her mom could come take her from me, though! He wouldn't let ANYBODY come up to him! I learned my lesson-no giving rides to children unless I know the horse well!

ETA: Scrambled, we love the chicken block! Olivia (4) wants me to make some like it now! I told her I don't think I can! It is so cute! Thank you!
