Well, not quite all in one day - lol. I had potatoes, peas, and onions already planted (and they're all up

). I also still have more to plant... I have a whole nother garden dedicated to pumpkins and gourds and none of that one is planted yet. Poor hubby found out tonight that we're going to have to till up some more area... I still have more to plant and nowhere left to plant it! I didn't even have room for all of my sweetcorn!

I got my block from Lori as well. I love it thank you so much. I like the horse material, I haven't seen that material before.

thanks Jean..I am old school..hand stitching..I do most of my work at night while hubby watches TV..I listen and stitch..most of my work is hand applique not much machine work..I am fortunate to live in an Amish Community that has fabulous hand quilters..they do my quilting, that leaves me more time to try new patterns

I have hand stitched 2 quilts and they are my best ones. So good my Mom got one and our neighbor got the other,

I have been had stiching a granmothers flower garden for 2 years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought reproduction fabrics for it. IM only half done. Maybe I will finish it next winter.

I used to hand stitch everything! I was terrified of sewing machines because I always seemed to break my mom's when I tried to use it. My very first quilt top has about 10 or 12 blocks in it that are all hand-pieced. I hope to finish it sometime in the next couple of years. I will keep that quilt since it was my first and was what got me into this hobby.
