I am looking to buy a trio of showgirls...preferrably bbs or white. Ok, not me, my 9yo who is WAAAAAY into chickens. She worked 50 hours over her extra chores for a neighbor a couple weeks ago so she could give me the $$ to buy her some hatching eggs for showgirls and polish only to have the seller disappear

So...both of those are high on the "want" list.

Also looking to buy BLUE egg layers or eggs, and ancona or magpie ducks/hatching eggs.

Or Pilgrim geese/eggs.

Or turkeys, quail, and misc others.

We are bird crazy

This is shaping up to be a lot like a family reunion back in West Virginia...everyone brings food and simple stuff to do...frisbee, ball, garden hose, lawn chairs... and of course food and drinks. There was always a poultry seller or six at the farmers' market right next door to the park it was held at, so we always came home with "goodies"....the chickens might not have LIKED the five hour drive back to Ohio...but they made it just fine.

I am SO there...pending no natural disasters ... (knock on wood) I can't wait!

I'm still trying to figure out how I can swing being there too,,,, we are off that Monday, and if I can use a day of leave on Friday,,,,, you might have a New Mexican show up!

Thanks fowlrus, but DH would kill me if I came home with baby chicks again. Im hoping to find some pullets around the same age as mine that someone has that will be coming. Your birds look great though.

How many and how old are the Brabanter chicks ? Do they come from gold/cream mixed stock ? Do they have crests and beards ?

This is my first Brabanter, first batch I hatch 6 out of 12, they all look like have crests and beards. My sorce said is gold, I have 2 dozen hatch around the 14th as well. I will like to keep 8 total.
