2009 Texas Chickenstock, 5/23/09 - See My Page for add'l details

Arrzo con Pollo sounds delicious!

I am not sure of the children's ages, but they usually range from about 5 to teens. They always find someone to play with...

Its quiet around here for the day before Chickenstock.

I am ready and looking forward to it.

I will also make a thing of Sweet Tea!

Can't wait to see everyone! This is exciting!

Anyone have some pullets or hens they can part with? I have a huge demand at work for fresh eggs but only 5 girls and my babies won't help me there! lol

I will check back in the morning before I head out to see if anyone is willing to sell me a girl at a good price! Thanks!

sorry, no bashing watermelons with swords this year... seems like I can only make it to Chickenstock in even-numbered years. Our toddler (and family) has had a really nasty and highly contagious gastrointestinal virus. It wouldn't do to introduce such a thing to a potluck and have everyone wondering who's dish was the "bad one".

perhaps next year!

I will be there tomorrow with my friend Carol and her mom. I came into San Marcos last night and we went to Wimberly today. I bought 8 bantam chicks at King's feed today...I'm so bad!
