Hi Mrs Duck!

The person whose birds needed a ride was Heather (Rarefeathers). I PMed her to let her know. I bet she would love for you to bring her birds! I think she works, so hopefully she will be able to get back to you tonight. Nice of you to offer!

Thanks daze! It didn't work out this time but I did send you all of the info I have on my BLRW bantams...we're on our way out the door right now to Twisp to pick up antibiotics that our vet left in the back for Hank (he's sick again!)

Hank's our heeler puppy...we are starting to think it's a food allergy. Yes, I'm still planning on coming...I got all of my cages, crates & tubs out tonight and got them organized. I made a list of who I'm bringing and prices, LOL I just hope I come home with less than I go down there with!

Don't feel bad about the BLRW she seems to be a flake & unreliable--I've had the same problems with her...I'll give her the benefit of the doubt for a little while longer and then I'll turn her into PayPal for not giving me what I paid for. I probably can't get back my $25 deposit because it was so long ago...but the rest I just sent her, I'll be getting that back for sure!

I really do appreciate your efforts though because otherwise I'm not sure when or how I'll be able to get them...at least before Thanksgiving...

The Orloff dude seems a lot more down-to-earth and no B.S. (just like I like it!) LOL He quoted me a price, I paid him and I'm hopefully (at least at some point) getting some birds from him. He's been breeding for many years and although I haven't seen photos of these pullets, I am very hopeful they will be a tremendous asset to my Orloff breeding program.

I just got home...it went well...I sold 9 out of 10 of my chickens I brought and all 3 'scovies. No takers on my big Sussex roo, hatching eggs or my Sebbies...but all in all, I came home with no new birds and many less!

I met some awesome fellow BYC'ers and I traded some 'scovies & a pair of Creves for some homemade strawberry, blackberry and peach jam.

I had fun also! I didn't bring any home birds that I brought to the swap and came home with a car load of great birds and homemade jams and jellies!! I just tucked everyone in and unloaded the car. Whew long day! But I got a couple cases of peaches and apples while I was over there too! Bonus!

Heather-I was sorely tempted with your sebbies but had no where to put them in the car or at home! Maybe in the spring if you have more....

Had a great time meeting you fellow BYCers!! I sure hope to do it again in Spring!

I had a great time and went home with more chickens than I came with!

It was great to have met you all and I hope we can do this again in the spring when we have more babies and what-nots. Heather, I did love those geese. Maybe if we meet up again and you have a breeding pair, I would be very interested. They are beautiful birds. We can add them to the collection when we get the piglet and the steer.
