2010 North/Central Washington Poultry Swap/Sale October 2, Ellensburg

Bummer I just saw this thread. I would have liked to have come. I have 8 roosters from my spring hatch and I want to get rid of 5. If anyone would like them let me know. I live down in Grangeville but I do go north from time to time.

Frankly my hens are getting a bit abused by all the .........frustrated roos

Sorry hubby & I missed it but the first football practice of the season went better than expected. Only a few bruises.
I'd love to start talking about the spring meet after the holidays so we all can get it on our calendar.

Post some pics please!

That was fun ladies. Let's do it in the spring!
Thanks for the great birds, I have lost to learn ahead of me.
Also, everyone made it home OK. The chicks are cozy, the french pair are fitting right in. The ducks are very hesitant to come out, it must be very overwhelming.
Thanks for the great trades ladies!

Deal Heather. I will raise it up for you and maybe I can get a discount off the breeding pair? I will let you know as soon as I can tell it might be a roo. Does the white one have the 5 toes (I guess I could look, huh???)? I have golden laced cochin chicks that I am raising up now - I saw on your site that you are interested in them as well. I could send you pictures of my stock when they get older as I bought eggs from you, from south carolina and two other places. I also am working to breed the lemon blues - so maybe we can exchange or buy stock from one another. My blue hen is 8 months old but my future roo is only 4 weeks old.

I will be next year before I will have any eggs to hatch. I love the cute babies but also can't wait for everyone to grow up. All the newbies are doing well.

Glad everyone had a safe trip back home.

Would Wenatchee work for a Spring swap next year for everyone?
