That is good news! Maybe while they're working with the Upload feature, they can look at upload capability for more than one pic at a time, and folders to put our uploads in???

I was wondering why you have to store a picture before you can post it. Wouldn't it be easier to send it direct . Other forums you just go to the image & directly send it. I'm not complaining because I now no how to send pictures. But at first I was so confused. Guess ,I'm not a computer guru .I'd like to set up my backyard page but whoa. Maybe I'll figure it out.

I just had a thought, we need a forum for 'shout-outs'. This would be for people to show pics of chicks hatched from members or to update people on hatches or shipments. It could be used for BYC members or for other sites as well like ebay. It would be different from the feedback rating in the BST because people could give details about the shipment of eggs or birds as well as updates on hatches and growing chicks. There could be stipulations on the titles such as 'shelleyd2008--egg shipment update' and etc.

I've seen some threads started like this, they've been scattered all over the forum. I think one general area for these posts would be very helpful.

Just a thought

This would also help people to find eggs/birds they are looking for. They could find the username (or search for a name from an ebay seller) and then check the forum for any messages left for the member

Nifty, How about the capability to give thread responses to other threads. More or less like the video response system on YouTube...?

For Example, lets say shelleyd2008 ordered Buff Orpington eggs from Rio_Lindo_AZ. The eggs are piping, and shelley is so excited (since this is her first hatch) that she posts a bunch of images of the eggs in the "pictures and stories of your chickens" section of the forum. Rio on the other hand has an active thread in the "Breeds and Genetics" section of the forum with pictures of his Buff Orpingtons. Shelley would post a "TR" (Thread Response) to Rio's thread where the link to her thread will be visible at the bottom of each page.

Can be used with other predicaments similar to this one.



What do the rest of you guys think?
