Thank you Vicky, I hope this next year will be better than last season.....I believe there will be more piece between the pairs with the pens all divided up. This way I will know who bred with who and will know better what the colors will be from the breedings.

How on earth do you get the black background as its sets them off beautifully. Is it a studio box and what kind of flash are you using?

Here are some pics of my 5 month old month goose and month old curly gander.
You can see the dry scaly patches on his beak, does anyone know what causes this?

They have completely ruined the carpet we had under the gazebo. Cant wait for DH to put in the pavers and get the fence up to keep them off the porch!

one more post. DH is doing such a nice job on the pens and houses, almost everything is recycled materials, like fence panels purchased from neighbor and tin that was roofing for old dog kennels.

When I see something like that on my birds, it's because they have raked their bills along fencing or something.
