2013 Chicks Picked Out!

I am getting some assorted cochins, assorted layers, some jumbo cornish X, the cackle surprise deal that could be anything, some salmon faverolles, and I want to try and get some more silkies, and a few gold and silver laced polish before the season is over. I want to have the most motley flock of chickens ever...
I want Salom Faverolles SOO bad!! And I want some more silkies too!

You are not alone- I am looking for some Bantam Salmon Faverolles for 2013 but only have room for a half dozen or so birds... small coop!!!!!!
Anybody in New England area with some chicks coming in the Spring- I'd like to piggy back on your order to the tune of about a half dozen fuzzies. Or if you hatch more than you need, would really like to find these birds.

I need help! Do any of you BYCer's have Light Brahamas, or Buff Brahamas? I want to get some but it says that they mature slowly. Could you tell a difference? Is there a major difference in them with egg laying? Any help is SOO much appreciated!! Thanks!

Have you looked at mypetchicken? They advertize really low minimum orders. It depends on your location but it can be as low as 3 chicks. I live in the stix and only had to pick 7 as a min.

I also too just checked it out... It looks like an awesome website! Is it dependable?

I ordered 8 through mypetchicken. They all were alive when they arrived but I lost one the first night. They have a guarantee and will send me another when/if I order from them again. They have a great assortment and I have no trouble recommending them.

i dont have any but they mature really slow.but with all the good things i heard about them i wouls say they are well worth the wait. i think i read that it takes 8-10 montgs for them to start laying and they lay a very large egg, as they are huge.may just be they are fluffy.
