I have seeds, cuttings, and corms to swap. Do I list them here or make a separate page somewhere?

Rbaker has the current offer. You can claim hers or wait until you see an offer you want. Then you list what you have. Or you can make a swap page. I will be updating my page later today, lots of new stuff. Yay.

hi ya all .. i would like to swap an idea for another idea .. has any one concidered permaculture other wise known as aquaponics .i personaly think its great and a fun thing to try.

it can be done even in some ones house on a smaller scale .. and people often like fish along with raising plants ..so why not raise them to gether and reep the wonderful benefits of
raising things you never thought you could by means of aqua culture .. no im not interested in your money just what you think of this and your own ideas other than this..

any way here are some neat sites to go to and learn//

Gods blessings

We are currently getting an aquaponics system started. It's in the planning and acquisition stage but I already have some Nile Tilapia fingerlings in one of my goldfish ponds hanging out with the "pretty" fish. Here are the 330 gallon IBC totes our system will be based on.

Aquaponics is a hybrid between Aquaculture, the growing of fish, and Hydroponics, the growing of plants with water not soil. In a nutshell the fish poo fertilizes the plants and the plants clean the water for the fish. Of course there is a complicated ammonia, nitrate, nitrite cycle involving the plants and beneficial bacteria that helps the system function and flourish but thats probably more than most people want to know..
