2014 April coop challenge

Yay...I get to post my completed coop in the April Challenge!!

My hubby worked hard getting this ready for the girls. They spent their first night at 5 weeks in the coop on Monday night.

OMG

I love

that coop I'm building one for my ducks thought if you go on YouTube and type in how to build a hen house I am making mine like that guys video his username is BCtruck, rebuild, repair, repurpose I love his design and am hoping to get it done soon!!!!

Our Family Coop - each evening we let them run free in the yard for about 1 hour. We call it "watch'n chicken TV" Our Grandkids came up with the Chicken jokes !!!

It doesn't have a name yet, ideas are welcome

And I have another in the works....

This one is for turkeys, we are going to call it the sap house coop..... Once it's finished that's what it will look like

So does anyone want to donate a prize? I think if we had a really good prize more people would want to get competitive with their coops and then everyone can be inspired!

It's really amazing how enjoyable it is having chickens, my children are very involved and collect eggs daily.

Easter egg hunt everyday!

Hey gang, it's not a BIG prize...but I will gladly hand paint a coop "NAME" sign for the winner to tack onto their coop or some chicken jokes...LOL!
