2014 Crochet square swap, colorful circles.

Pics
I've never made spirals before. How is it done? I can see ranchers pic, but how do you connect the last row to the first?
I've never made them but they looked cool. You can find more pics just by googling spiral crochet.

When I was in Joanns the other day I thought why would I buy a book of patterns when there are so many free ones online?

Any suggestions on a soft yarn for babies but not skinny baby yarn? My GD asked me to make her a blanket.

Well I started with a "K" and it looked like the first couple of rounds were not much bigger than with "I", so moved to the "J". I don't care for the way it looks with a "J" but I'll continue and see if it finishes at 12".

If it's too big I go back to the "K" .
I must have this mixed up cuz it would be I, J, K. K would be larger.

Anyhow I've got two large done.

DW was in the hospital again. Things are just delayed a bit.

I just want to sleep but have a lot to do.

Is she still in the hospital? She is currently taking chemo right?

She's home now, Chemo had to be stopped. Radiation is delayed a few weeks. We're looking now into next year before it's all over.

In other news.

I get a call from the Cancer people, some organization I don't know which for a donation. The conversation goes like this.

Me: Hello

Her: This is so and so and I'm calling about yada, yada, yada, breast cancer. You two are harder to get a hold of than rabbits on roller skates. Yada, yada, yada,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Me: This is her husband she's sleeping......................

Her: Yada, yada, yada.........................

Me: You do know my wife is being treated for breast cancer?

Her: You are cuter than a kitten in mittens. Yada, yada, yada, yada,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

completely ignored what I said. I was upset to say the least and slammed down the phone.

Glad she is home, sorry for the delays, makes it all seem so much longer.

I don't blame you I would have been mad too.
