Hmm, I might have to attempt the name game!

My little chicks are getting so big! :( They are already one week old today.

I think she likes getting her picture taken :)

So cute!

Nap time!
I cant believe mine are a week old either! It feels like I just got them the other day. I can see how big they have gotten too just by looking at their size compared to the holes in their chick feeder. I bet I'll wake up tomorrow and they will be laying eggs (I wish).

mine are a week old today and i wonder part of the time where my tiny fuzzbutts went and where these big chicks with wing and tail feathers came from....they just grow so darn fast.

i have serama's hatching today so i'll have more fuzzbutss to enjoy

Haha, I bet! I am going to get some from TSC which starts in two days. I am worried the ones I have now will pick on the new ones that I am going to get.

Aren't they just the sweetest things...I have a maran that runs up to me every time I put my had in. In fact she spastically runs in and slides like Mary Catherine Gallagher from SNL...oh yeah that's her name now lol

I just got some chicks at my TSC!!! I got 2 Wyandottes and 4 assorted pullets that are unknown. Anyone know what they could be? All four of the pullets have feathered legs and the sign said ''High egg producing pullets''.

Cool! I think the ones with the feathered feet are brahmas. So I put the 4 pullets out this afternoon and started getting ready for the chicks tomorrow. THEN my mom told me that we are possibly getting a foot or more of snow on Monday. So I go on the weather site on my computer and it says it is going to be 5 degrees the next 2 nights... I thought: great, 6 week old pullets trying to survive near zero temperatures. So I brought them in. Long story short, I'm not getting chicks tomorrow.

BUT I am getting my coturnix quail eggs the end of next week (I hope) all 120 of them
